Fire Bellydance Workshop:
Before the hafla, take a bellydance with fire workshop with Lorenda from 2-4:30 p.m. at Dana’s home in Quakertown. Address will be given after registration for the $30 class. Lorenda will teach a bellydance choreography with palm torches and palm candles, go over fire safety and how to fire perform legally, and demo a few of her other fire bellydance props. Those with prior experience in fire dancing may bring their props for a fire jam after the workshop. Fuel will be provided for the workshop. Please bring your own fuel if you plan to fire perform afterward.
Payment for the workshop can be sent to Lorenda via PayPal using the link https://www.paypal.me/LorendaKnisel/30. You may message her on Facebook for more information about the class and nonrefundable payment.
The workshop will be taught for all levels. It is open to all genders and anyone over 18.
The rain date for the workshop is Sunday, July 9.

It is recommended that you purchase your palm torches before the class, but it is not mandatory. Many bellydance moves can be done interchangeably with palm torches and palm candles (while some cannot). Lorenda will bring extra candles, two sets of palm torches, and two sets of protective gloves to share with the class. If you have candle holders that you’d like to use, please bring them so you don’t burn yourself with hot wax.
